Call To Action

Call to Action. 2025. Our Animal Shelter in Moline is antiquated and not optimally designed for pets, prompting the acquisition of property in Milan for the development of a new, more pet-friendly shelter. Our Animal Shelter in Moline has suffered recurring flooding due to severe rainfall, do to the floodgate being closed at the dike north of the shelter. We are now prepared to construct a more pet-friendly shelter, providing an enhanced environment for the animals. Construction will begin shortly; will you participate in this new shelter fundraiser or offer your expertise as a volunteer? We were unable to build at our existing location, and no other properties were available in Moline. As a result, property was purchased in Milan, situated just across the Moline Rock River bridge, providing a more favorable location for building a pet-friendly animal shelter. Please provide support by making a generous donation at Molineanimalaid.org, selecting ‘My Donation’ from the menu. Donations can also be made by check, addressed to New Shelter in care of Animal Aid Humane Society, 239 50th Street, Moline, IL 61265.
